Harold G. Belsheim is a partner in the law firm of Belsheim & Bruckert, L.L.C.
Mr. Belsheim earned a bachelor of arts degree from Concordia College in Fort Wayne, Indiana, an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and his juris doctor (J.D.) from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri. He has been practicing law in Missouri and Southwestern Illinois for more than 30 years. Mr. Belsheim practices specifically in the areas of municipal law, real estate law, large-tract commercial development, and business law.
Mr. Belsheim is licensed to practice law in the Illinois state courts (1978), the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois (1978), in the Missouri state courts (1978), United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri (1979), United States Court of Appeals, 6th Circuit (1993), United States Court of Appeals, 7th Circuit (1981), and United States Court of Appeals, 8th Circuit (1979).
Mr. Belsheim is a member of the Illinois Bar Association, Missouri Bar Association, St. Clair County and St. Louis Metropolitan Bar Associations, Illinois Municipal League, the Illinois Tax Increment Association, and the Southwestern Illinois Council of Mayors.
Mr. Belsheim also serves on the Board of Directors at McKendree University, Lebanon, Illinois.
