Our Attorneys - Terry Bruckert
Mr. Bruckert earned a bachelor’s degree in personnel management from Millikin University, an MBA from Quincy University and his juris doctor from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. While at the SIU School of Law, he was a member of the Law Journal and Health Law Moot Court Team. He is licensed to practice law in the Illinois state courts (1993),
the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois (1994), and in the Missouri state courts (1994).
Mr. Bruckert has been a partner in the law firm of Belsheim & Bruckert, L.L.C. since 1999. He has been practicing law in Southwestern Illinois for more than 17 years. Mr. Bruckert practices specifically in the areas of municipal law, real estate law, large-tract commercial development and business law.
Mr. Bruckert is a member and actively participates in the Illinois Municipal League, the Illinois Tax Increment Association, and the Southwestern Illinois Council of Mayors. Mr. Bruckert serves on the Illinois Tax Increment Association Program Committee, and he is a regular speaker at the Illinois Tax Increment Association spring and fall conferences.
